Nortons field guide to writing pgs. 120-126

This lesson in Norton's field guide to writing fits in perfectly in this week, because all the tips on pages 122 and 123 will certainly help me write the evaluation for Space Odyssey 2001. I do feel at times that i go too in depth and it hurts the persuasion of my story to my readers which is why point number one on giving a brief description was food for thought to myself.
The second point that i am fond of is a knowledgeable discussion of the topic. I say this because at this point in the movie I will admit I am a bit confused and have kinda been judging the movie when we are not even halfway through it. This brings another point of "a balanced and fair assessment" because I truly can't write my assessment of this movie if I have immediately labeled it stupid.
